It was a lovely sunny day for the launch week of RHS Grow With It, an annual programme to get people growing with the aims of
- bringing people together through plants
- learning to encourage and support wildlife with plant choices
- building climate resilience by greening the neighbourhood
families and friends joined in on Saturday 29 March to discover the plants that encourage biodiversity, attracting pollinating insects including bees, hoverflies and butterflies and discovering the benefits of green space and connecting with nature.
Community Gardening Days are for all ages – tools and sustenance are provided or you are welcome to bring your own. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing.
