Come along on Saturday 30 November for a day of outdoor activity at the Sunken Garden. 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm
10am to 12noon – Community bulb planting (a big thank you to United Lift Services for your support with this) will take place across the Garden with 1000s of spring bulbs going into the Sunken Garden to bring a bight and colourful display whilst increasing the foraging for all the early emerging pollinators from February onwards. You don’t need know-how, just a community spirit and warm clothing.
10am to 12noon – Alongside the bulb planting there will be the opportunity to make a seasonal wreath with Jenny, all the materials will be supplied, we would obviously be pleased and grateful for any contribution that you’d like to make to the Sunken Garden Society.
2pm to 4pm – Celebrate National Tree Week with Peter, who is also of Thanet Urban Forest, and will be expertly guiding a Tree Walk around the Garden, sharing insights and knowledge about the trees, animal life and biodiversity of the area. You can book your place for the Tree Walk HERE
